Information for Families
We believe that the link between school, parents and carers is the most important relationship in ensuring the success, progression and welfare of our children.
Working in strong partnership is very important to us. Parents obviously have the most powerful influence on their child's development and we aim to help parents feel that they 'belong' and that Stalham Academy is their place too.
Supporting your child with Learning At Home
There are many ways that you can support your child' learning at home.
The approach you take in reading with your child will vary depending on your child's ability. This may include reading poems and stories to your child, sharing a picture book and discussing the content, asking questions about what your child has read and so on.
The resources below include a guide to help develop reading strategies and some questions to improve children's comprehension skills.
